i offer the same. when the winds are blowing i found i windows getting dirt marks all over windows. must be from particles in wind coz the frames all clean. would end up doing a following days work for free if i went out in it.

Started about 12 here in Bristol once the rain stopped.

At 2pm I reversed onto the grass at the old people's home I do and the van got stuck!

Plan 1 put towels under front wheels = rrrrrr!rrrrr!spin flap stuck.

Plan 2 put some old carpet under the tyres = rrrrrr! rrrrrr! spin still stuck

Plan 3 cadge a push from the maintenance man = rrrr! rrrrrr! spin stuck

Plan 4 maintenance man puts down plywood = rrrr! rrrrr! spin smoke stuck

(I can now leave it on tickover, in gear with the wheels spinning gently and going nowhere)

Plan 5 (light bulb) phone RAC for a tow = 3 hr wait = me pleading that the security gates will be locked soon (fingers crossed!) and can they come quicker.

I carry on cleaning and twenty mins later RAC turn up and tow me free!

So with above and rain only £75 today grrrrrr! grrrrrr!

Still. provided entertainment for old folks who now have a nice furrow feature in their lawn! ;D
It's a game of three halves!
