hi  all, as anybody notice that inprinted concrete is slipply in the winter months. delivered some leaflets on notice as i nearly went flying on some.

    yes it is very slippy if you do get any to reseal then there are anti slip granules that can than be added to the seal that solve the problem and they cant be seen in the seal but make it feel a bit rougher to the touch.

     you can get it at www.elitecrete.co.uk if you click the order online icon and then look under consumables it is there, it only costs £11 and one carton mixes with 25litres of sealant so it isnt very expensive could be a good add on to business in summer months.

yes it is alright to spray on the sealer aslong as it is a decent sprayer some of the cheaper sprayers are alright for about a week but the sealer damages the seals very quickly, if i was going to use a sprayer i would get one that is recomended by the elitecrete people.

Gloria sprayers are good uns. Just make sure (as you probably know) that all the seals are VITON and not standard rubber ones as the xylene in resin eats rubber quickly. The non slip additive soon sinks to the bottom of both tub and in the gloria so you have to constantly keep agitating the resin (co the additive don't melt into the xylne)
Also the additive particals have been known to cause blockages in the gloria nozzle oriface and the filter.
If you put to much additive in and it clumps in one area you can see it when resin is dry, it looks like salt on the surface and it's VERY DIFFICULT to remove as you have to take resin off.
There is a new additive just coming out that is ok in the resin, the resin is supplied with it mixed in as a LOW slip resin for pic.

hi thanks for that i was told to watch seals etc if i was going to do this last year so thats why i didnt. but i have had that much equires about it i will be thinking of offering it. do you have details of where i can get this product from?
