a demo in Telford had tap water on 'SITE' going in at 347 and in a matter of seconds 2 guys were cleaning a roof with 000 TDS.

They supply 2 batteries with 'that' system which you have the specs of, so it can run for at least 8 hours (different one to one on the Window Cleaning Warehouse) and the system on the wcw website CAN be used in a van or on site. Yes you need a power source either a generator or plug in power source (110V or 220V) but it is easily done. Most people just pump the produced water into a van holding tank and pump it out with a standard van system pump then take the Ultra Pure to big sites where it is in action all day.

So it's not misleading at all, you just need to look at the right machine!

None taken!

The demo means nothing as the resin will produce 000 by itself.

The ad said that all you need is a water source. "Just plug in a water source and start cleaning" This is not true.

It is illegal to connect a pump to a mains supply - Operating this equipment is thus illegal if used as window cleaning warehouse advertise.

Foxman, you will find that it is you that is misinformed. In many ways.

Well you better tel 70% of the window cleaners on here who have a pump on their RO systems along with pressure washers!! Besides you can use the Ultra pure on a static water tank as it can suck the water from that - problem solved.

so if you have a filter before the pump, then this is legal  ;)

So we have to lug a static tank as well as the 4kw generator.

Not really practical.

I agree, foxman, that it would make a nice setup as a static with a break tank but not suitable for site work in IMO
