that fitting looks like its 6 mm , if its for the RO pipe, its 6 mm external, so you need something like ( it comes with another bit thats for 6 mm pipe )

taken from the DIY forum, if your on it, it also has the pics, its a post called "A few questions for you Jeff B (or anyone else)"

i know "homebase" stock all these parts, my both local 1's do

a pressure reducer, it comes with connections to 6mm and the bigger size ( might be 13 mm ) you only need the 6 mm, UNSCREW THE UNIT AND take out the body of it off, you only need the screw bit

www.hozelock.com/productcatalog/products.asp?range=watering&region=ROW&hierarchyID=1&hierarchyID2=54&hierarchyID3=58&hierarchyID4=60&hierarchyID5=

right you then need

www.hozelock.com/productcatalog/products.asp?range=watering&region=ROW&catno=2289&hierarchyID=1&hierarchyID2=33&hierarchyID3=36&hierarchyID4=

screw them together

6 mm rain pipe goes into the 1 end and the other is a hozelock that just plugs into your stop end

job done

infact thinking of it

you should be able to just unscrew the hoselock end from the DI and use this instead

homebase deffo have them

they are on the hozelock display

you will only really need the 6mm fitting, but need to buy the whole thing ( not over the top in price though )

Please help :( Dave

What you need is this

connected to this

Which in turn needs one of these connected to it (middle fitting)

The details are as follows

1:

John guest 1/4" push-in fitting to 1/4" male screw thread
John guest 1/4" push-in fitting to 1/4" male screw thread
Price: £1.75 (Excluding VAT charge at 17.5%)

2:

Female to Female reducing socket 1/4" to 3/8"
Reducing Socket 1/4" screw thread to 3/8" screw thread.
Price: £1.55 (Excluding VAT charge at 17.5%)

3:

Hose Barb to male screw thread Various sizes
Nylon male screw thread to hose barb fittings.

3/8" screw to 1/2" barb (pump fitting)
Price: £1.25 (Excluding VAT charge at 17.5%)

This will allow you to connect your 6mm OD RO tube to a length of 1/2" standard hose.

No problem.  I've notified Kirsty by email to cancel your original order.  Just go back on the website and order what you need.  Kirsty will sort out payment with you.
