Like all RO membranes you do need pre-filtration, ideally at least a sediment filter and a carbon block filter.  You will also need an adjustable valve to restrict the waste during production and to allow flushing when needed.  You will obviously need hosing to connect all of the above.  If you're in a low water pressure area (-50 psi) then you may well need a booster pump, something like a 150 psi Shurflo will do the job well and an In-line TDS Meter may be a useful addition.

i got my set up from gaps, they sell the 4040 as part of a kit with everything you need, you can change the sizes of the components to suite your requirements for example the filter sizes etc.
i am very happy with my system it was easy to set up and if you have any problems they are more than happy to help.

We do not sell those exact ones, we can get them for you, but it would be quicker for you to order them direct.
