Ok, do it now, why wait for spring, better to have the money in your account than the customers - you will be busy in spring. We have nice days still and you can always go to check the sanding in spring and talk the customer into more work then. Well thats what I would do anyway

Sorry just read the reseal bit - do it in spring, its too damp and cold now. What was it sealed with if an oil spill means it needs resealing - must have been crap if it can't just be cleaned.

yup,

hard to seal now, need 4-5 dry days in a row so prob best leave till spring.

Depends what your going to use , Resiblock won't go off this time of year if you can get it dry enough to apply it - do a mop up now then the job proper in spring

as the lads have said do it in spring, the joints just will not dry out enough to seal properly, i saw a lad sealing a drive the other day it was a discrace.  the sand was all over the blocks and half the joints were empty of sand and then he sealed over the lot. if it was my drive i would want the lot ripped out and re layed. its ruined!

i beginning to wonder myself whether to stop sealing drives, i use resiblock and do a great job but its all the hassle of buying the stuff in, waiting for the weather, then there is always the risk of comebacks.
anyway good luck!

Just one thing you could offer the customer here if you wanted to, Do the oil stain removal (getting the oil up is better done sooner then later) wash and re-sand now, then with a view to coming back in the spring to re-wash, sand and seal etc. You might want to offer a small discount say 5% for doing the work now or on the full job in the spring?
But as I said on another forum, sealing at this time of the year is really a no-go.
