Thanks everyone for your tips, sorry i have not replied but my computer won`t let me reply on outlook express,it comes back with an error message.I have noted all your comments down and i am going to start to get my equipment together and get some practise sorted before next year, sort my van lettering, leaflets, advertising etc.Like i said this is just a sideline to keep me occupied and not my only income,i just don`t have to manage my shops 24/7 any more and spend most of my time up in lytham,i just want something to get me away from the missus and earn some extra beer money,ha ha.I am based in west derby liverpool and will be having a go round my holiday home site at lytham,at the end of the day if i can get out the house for 2 or 3 days a week and keep busy i will be happy,i know i`m not going to make brewsters.I had a look at the driveway doctor franchise but they charge big money for the set up and to be honest i`ve never seen one of their advertisements so i can`t really  work out what your paying for or how they promote you and get you work ,has any one had any experiences with franchiseing.Anyway thanks again and i will e-mail anyone personally through my normal e-mail server.dandandan :)

make sure you get full liability insurance as people are claiming all the time. i have had a few near misses so far and i always do a good job, you need slip signs and all that or when you clean a drive and the water floods out onto the road if somone slips on it your liable. or is you damage somones paintwork or driveway. be very carefull.
