Second clean today and windows didn't look too good from last time? Runs everywhere from the top frames. I had previously cleaned it twice like i always do on a first clean. As todays started to dry I could see the same again. Checked the windows and it would seem that the rubbers are breaking down - they are white ones but feel like they are coated in grease. Washed again with tfr and rinsed again but I think I've got a bad one here.

Explain to the customer that you want to know why these windows aren't playing the game.
WFP it then get the ladders up there to see where the problem is initiated from. I had one house where all the windows left a lovely 'bomb burst' effect. Turned out there was a quarter inch gap in the seal dead centre along the top of each frame. Tried blasting on full pressure insome hope this might clean out the gap. Didn't work so had an agreement with the customer that we would trad these windows but at an extra cost.

Like I said it's the rubbers breaking down. They have gone all greasy. TFR is a degreaser so it was a gamble that might have worked but I didn't stay long enough to find out. I've had trouble before with black ones but this is the first time I've come across white ones that bleed.

I've already used it to clean my brush the other day. Picked up some grease from somewhere and spread it over the next window so used tfr on the glass to remove it. Good stuff.

Hi Tony,i used TFR on glass before and left it on for a few minutes only and it left streaks on the glass that were a pain to get off,on plastic roofs i`ve had no trouble with it.
