Here’s an update on the WAHR which was posted on Andrew Walker of Edu-Clean’s “EUcleaningandrelatedservices” board.
But be aware that it is now called EduCleanUK. In a nutshell, it looks like the construction industry standard for fall arrest equipment required above 2 metres will be rolled out to cover everyone involved in working at height.
It makes grim reading for anyone putting off the day to buy a wfp system, and, like Andrew, I would encourage everyone to read through this document, the links at the end, and to also add your feedback. If you do supply comments, pro or anti, please make sure that they are thought through, and not just a rant at more bureaucracy coming from above!
