Hi BigFish, I Bought a Steam cleaner from Ebay a few months back, It is made by a company called Simac an Italian company, very robust and if recall sold by secondtek1 (thats his ebay name) this machine is superb quality produces 3bar and holds a couple of litres which lasts ages.
Shop price was £120 and i got mine for £50 so not a bad deal, this guy had loads of steam cleaners of various specs so maybe it may be worth your while having a look. I have used mine on gum and it did a good job.

There is a Prochem Bazooka chewing Gum remover on ebay item no 3846676594 it should go for £175 which is 1/2 the retail price

BigFish, If its just gum removal that you want the steam cleaner for then i would recomend trying some of Solutions gum remover ( number 6) it really is fantastic stuff and makes light work of old stamped in gum.

Hi

I use a Polti Vaparetto 2400 which is really good, lift all types of residues and gum and pressure is controlled by the operator.

Good all round and does a multitude of tasks.

Cheers
