Tree sap & WFP
« on: September 18, 2007, 12:19:12 am »
I've just taken on an old custy that I had to give up a couple of years back due to an accessability problem with ladders. I haven't as yet cleaned them but was wondering if tree sap causes a problem with the WFP brushes as I recall this particular house used to suffer from it quite badly due to a nearby oak tree. I was wondering, for instance, if any residue is tranferred to the next job or if there's a technique to prevent this.

I have used a wfp system on this type of problem, Luckily enough, i could access by Ladders, i eventually used a mop and squeegee to remove the heavy sap, but then gave them a good hit with the pole.

They have stayed clean so far, but reckon i will end up going back to it on the ladders.

Rob.
Life used to be full of up's and downs....now i hardly ever get up a ladder :) .

Thanks Rob for your reply.

I did the house in question today and it appears the offending tree has been sverely trimmed and the problem didn't arrise, but I'm sure it will one day.

WFP does not remove tree sap.
