Hi all. I’ve been pressure washing driveways for a year now and believe it or not, I’ve not been asked to seal one but now I have. What’s the process, clean the drive, then sand, then seal? And is it best to use a Gloria sprayer or just use a roller and tray? Thanks in advance

Depends on what sealer you’re using

If using a more modern impregnating sealer you can spray the older acrylic type stuff would be a roller -

Good luck with it and I hope you charged well - I won’t seal drives

Btw - clean - sand - brush - apply sealer

A decent sealer can work out very expensive.  If the driveway is on a slope, sand can become dislodged by heavy rain in the early stages of the new clean before becoming established. This situation may warrant sealing.  In my opinion - you need 2 dry days to re sand and four dry days to re-sand and seal. If the drive isn't bone dry the sealant will dry looking like you've thrown milk over it. I always quote for a clean and a separate quote for a clean and seal.
