How Much Please with pics
« on: August 21, 2007, 04:33:31 pm »
I have already put in my price for this tiny car home, but just woundering what other peaple would quote.

Outside 4 weekly?
outside 8 weekly?

inside 12 weekly?
inside 24 weekly?

I was thinking about 3 hours to do the outside, not sure for the insides.

1st clean £150 outside/ £150 inside (more if many of the residents smoke in their rooms)

Subsequently £100 outside/ £125 inside

(Excluding glass roofs which I would do additionally every third time.)

Wfp outside that is.
It's a game of three halves!

How come some people are quoting the same for insides as outs?  Insides take at least twice as long to do - moving ornaments, furniture, curtains, in and out of different rooms etc.  I always quote double for insides.

I'd say £120 min outside wfp and £160 inside. Don't agree with the guy who said double for the inside, but 40 to 50% more.

So you don't reckon it would take twice as long to trad the insides as it would to WFP the outs?

I reckon it would take longer, especially if those Georgians are individual panes.

On top of that £480 i would add another 20-25%,it`s not straight forward by any means and looks very awkward in places. It would take a good few cleans before you could really put an accurate time it would take to do.The roof would be separate if i was quoting, that`s a job in itself.

just been looking again think nwh is right on the roof part that its a job in itself . so £80 would seem cheap just for the roof . i would want £400 min for main windows & frames then from the pictures i see of the roof maybe £150  so in total £550 . when you do put the price in if you do get the work let us no what the price was . i reckon it could take around 9 hours inside & out
where theres muck theres money

I`ve just had another good look at the roof parts of that property and to be perfectly honest i reckon that the roof sections are harder work than the window`s,i`m not giving you any bull here but i would honestly say that the quote i said for the window`s would be pretty close to the amount i would want for the roof parts aswell,i don`t know a wc on the planet that would do it for £80.
