old style oval vikan troubles there must be an alternative
« on: August 19, 2007, 02:22:01 am »
im having to constantly drag a bucket of water to rinse away
bits stuck inbetween the tufts of my old style vikan
there has to be an alternative  so many brushes on the market  is there any one brush that does not trap bits-yet is soft enough to clean horizontal+vertical lines of leaded windows?
i hate to admit it but old style vikans clean leaded glass real good

I now use vikan oblong monofiliment brushes as well as my oval splayed vikan brush's and I am very happy with the oblong brushes...

I know cleantech sell them.

Cheers
Dave.

Good brush that new ionics one, well worth the money.Make sure you get them to send it to you un-jetted,jet it yourself with smaller jets.

nwh  hi
the one youre raving about is really dense+should trap
particles much more than the other ionic brush
maybe you rinse brush off+get away with it
im rinsing brush on so as to ensure water covers all the glass--beading+semi beading
i find brushoff rinse doesnt cover those "islands"
