new pump or new regulater. Which?
« on: August 13, 2007, 10:15:07 am »
I've got a 100psi pump which pumps water very fast but I have been told that its not a good thing to have so much pressure. So I should really buy a regulater to slow it down which costs about £80.00.
I'm thinking. Do I buy a regulater or just replace the pump with one thats a lot slower like a 45psi or 65psi. That way I have a spare pump and it wont give so much preesure.
Your comments and advice would be appreciated.

its allways wise to have a spare pump

i have a sapre pump box in the car, afteral if it breaks, i dont lose any money, just switch over to the spare

you will pick up a 60 psi pump for under 80 quid
