Got my van a month ago, it doesnt have a roofrack yet and I just don't want to cart out more money for one with the rollers on the back at the moment. So is there a ladder that will fit inside my Expert with a 500ltr tank, the ladder will need to reach 4 meters or so. I just cant justify getting a 200 quid roofrack for one 40 quid job, I will be pole by time I get the job and don't want to turn it down. I can't do this job trad either, too high, so cant use our current vehicle with a rack for time being, Luke

You should easily be able to fit a small ladder in the back of your van, when I first started I had a honda civic without a roof rack and found that I could easily fit my ladder in the back if I laid the front seat down.

Can't you ask another window cleaner to drop the ladders off at customers house and with their permission leave them around the back of the property secured on a permanent basis? Cheaper than buying a roller roofrack.

Windowwasher are you saying I'm lying? >:( I had a trade triple ladder which easily fitted into the back of my Honda Civic!! With all 3 sections extended I could even reach the 2nd floor window of a townhouse if I wanted to!!  :o
Luke why don't you just get out your tape measure, it's a lot easier in the long run!!!!!!!! ;)

I've will have a 500ltr tank poles and a bulkhead so I think telescopic ladders are the way for the short term, Luke
