can anyone advise
« on: July 29, 2007, 02:36:35 pm »
I was thinking of targeting some local restaurants within my next mail advertising campaign. The thing I would like to know is does anyone here clean for restaurants? I do not have experience of cleaning restaurant ovens or the big hoods so I was wondering do restaurants have cleaners simply just to clean the dining areas/bar area and the kitchen staff take care of the kitchen? Cleaning of the kitchen area won't be a problem apart from obviously the cooker hoods and ovens.
Does anyone here clean for restaurants and if so what does it entail?
Thanks

hi

most restaurants do there own cleaning as I found out when I started handing out my ad campaign which I had wasted alot of money on. I do some work for one restaurant in Darlington but thats only window cleaning once a month and carpet cleaning when ever needed.

                                             Kind regards Paul

Restaurants tend to only bring an outside cleaning company in once a year to clean the ovens, hoods and all the ground in dirt. It is quite surprising the mess they get into when you first see a commercial kitchen.
