Backpacks?
« on: July 25, 2007, 06:21:52 pm »
I've never used a backpack before, always used van mounted systems in the past so could anybody explain to me what is needed for the backpack. Is the filtration system not included in the price or does the backpack filter the water?

You can buy a package that gets you the backpack a pole,RO unit i think it`s about £500,the backpack on it`s own with the shrader valve is about £220 i think that`s what i paid from cleantech.

I get it now I need to purify the water before it goes into the backpack. Sorry didn't see the RO bit of the last sentence. So it quite a cheap alternative for the time being.

I have a stepladder. It's a very nice stepladder but it's sad that I never knew my real ladder

just finishing using a backpack full time... to a van mount....... to just pull the hose out and and thats it... :D   ah absolute bliss......

but i do think a backpack will come in handy from time to time...

but full time ?    its a real pain.   however you fill it.
