« on: July 11, 2007, 07:09:09 pm »
Hi All
I have just rec'd my booster pump and after I have connected it and run the water to fill it, I turn it on it pumps for 20 secs then cuts out.
Any ideas??????
I have taken the front plastic cover off it to turn the screw but nothing works??

HAve you connected it the right way round ,ie some pumps run in reverse if wired with live and neutral wrong way round .what pump is it.

It all came wired up.
It is a JEXI 105M
I have just been out fiddling with it and I manually get it to 'run' by holding a little black plastic leaver open but the minute I let go it stops and the pressure returns to 50psi

I dont know that one but some pumps have to have the air purged from them so as they are completely full of water before they will pump.
