Hi

Is anyone using 'Window Cleaner Professional'

If so how are you getting on with it? Looking at the official forum on there site it's full of Porn and hardly used.

Is ther any other software out there like this that is updated regular?

What do you guys use? I have been using 'Microsoft Outlook' up until now but want to integrate the account side of things and keep it all together.

Cheers Richard

Hi

Just been trying it out. How do you guys cope with commercial jobs with George.

As an example i have a customer (actually 95% of my work is like this) who i do twice a week but do not collect money each time, i do the windows for 4 weeks and then invoice for the 4 weeks.

The way i see it i will have to enter each customer twice, once for the work to be done weekly and then again to show that i need to collect. Is that how you do it or am i missing something?

Cheers

Richard

Hi Richard,

We have several jobs on weekly and fortnightly schedules that we invoice on a monthly basis.

All you do is mark the job off each time you do it and once a month click invoice and it will produce an invoice detailing dates of cleans, amounts and a final total.

It really is simple to use.

regards,

Trevor

Hi

Thanks for the reply.

Take the following job as an example:

Shop front   = £4.00 per clean x twice a week
Shop inside = £4.00 per clean x once per month
Shop fascia = £10.00 per clean once per month

Monthly bill = £46.00

So what i have to do then is split the monthly payment into 4 equal payments and enter into George and remember once every 4 weeks to invoice it?

Seems a bit long winded and a lot of remembering to do, plus my customer would wonder why he is getting a bill split down into 4 x £11.50 weekly cleans, when it should be 4 x £8.00 weekly cleans, an inside clean @ £4.00 and a fascia clean @ £10.00, Total £46.00

Is that the only way of doing it or again am i missing something more simple? Or is it more suited to Residential cleaning?

Cheers Richard

I do a similar thing with george

I put the outside on a weekly schedule
& the inside on a 4 weekly
& the facia on a 4 weekly also

I dont use george for invoicing thou I use sage and just have to remember to invoice them at the end of the month

Each time you clean the premises you can change the value of the clean accordingly to suit what work you have done?
