How are they working out Paul??

So far so good. I take the point about the red plastic switch being it's weak point, so I make a point of keeping hold of it when walking to a window, I'm sure if I let it drag on the floor it would break fairly quickly.
The switch is attached by a screw so I'm going to make some enquiries as to wether it could be replaced by a metal switch, giving it a bit more strength.

My flow valves keep leaking and the pipe keeps getting eaten by the olives

but you can always fold over the hose instead.

Thats what I do. Even when going to the next window I just fold the hose coming out of the brush in two to stop the flow. A lot quicker and cheaper than fitting a flow valve!  Been doing that for over a year and so far no damage/split in the hose.
