But I will just ask,  how fast can you make RO water?  say if I want 200 liters ASAP, how long am I looking at?

with a pumped 200gpd RO Man unit working at 100psi & water temp of 10 degrees celsius I produce 25l per hour

heavy duty 4040 ro's can produce 280-400 ltrs per hour
I have a merlin on 80 psi pressure un pumped and can get 200 ltrs ina little over 2 hours

I Have a 4040 with a booster pump.  In an hour it will pump out 200+lts of water taking it from 400 tdr down to about 2 tdr.  At that rate it produces water faster than 2 of us can use it.

not sure what my psi is put i can produce 400 ltrs from my merlin in just under 3 hours

we built a custom system a while back for a customer, twin 4040 boosted by a 1.5hp centrifuge pump, produces about 500ltrs an hour.

you can go a lot bigger though.

Biggest setup I've seen is a local soft drinks company, 22 x  8040 ro's, driven from 2 massive pumps.
