Yesterday I had a new first happen to me.
I was having a break and wandered into a local supermarket to get something. A voice behind me said "Can you come and clean my windows please?" I looked around trying to figure out where I knew her from but drew a blank. Then the penny dropped. She had read my t-shirt my my profession and phone number on it.
Anyway, from that I got a new custie. Not a huge job. It's an £11er. I charged £25 for the first clean though as it really was a mare. I normally only charge an extra 50% for first cleans but this had to be seen to be believed. I think someone must train albatrosses around there (I'm 25 miles inland).
So, a few more jobs like that and the t-shirts will pay for themselves
