The blitz topic got me wondering, how do you tell the difference between, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th generation Nylon without a microscope to see the shape of the polymer itself?

Nylon can be damaged in many ways with elevated pH. Dyes can bleed, and discolouration can occur too. If you work within Woolsafe parameters you should be fine. Virtually everything I clean is Woolsafe and I never have problems.

Safe and happy cleaning :)
