I get so annoyed at some of threads that go on and on asking for a document.  The original poster asks for something and someone replies with 'you have mail'.  You then get pages of people saying 'can I have one'.  It really bugs me when I open a thread just to see tons of these posts and have to wade through them for a decent post.

So please people if you are going to help someone out with a document could you not post it in the docs section so that everyone can go and get it, I'm sure it would save the person offering the info valuable time in answering all those emails aswell!

Totally agree with you.

Take my business software thread in the frequently asked questions in the carpet section - I tried uploading it myself but couldn't. I asked for help to upload it but nothing. I was then asked to forward it to an Administrator so that they could upload it (which I did) to prevent the repeat "can I have one" posts but I've heard nothing since !!  :

It makes me laugh how many people want something for nothing, If the person with the info, said they were 50 pence each. No one would want one.

I can't understand why someone would spend hours or days of their own time preparing such documents and then hand it over to some lazy sod who either can't be bothered or is too thick to do it for themselves.

It's like a school kid getting someone else to do their homework.

I agree it would be simpler to post any docs in the relevant section for folk to download but...
