Flow Valve Inserts
«
on:

Can anyone help me in finding the inserts for the flow control valve from Gardiners.
Can’t order from Gardiners now as they are closed for a couple of weeks.
I can get the flow valve but no idea where the inserts are from.
This is the Valve.

Thanks
Wayne
P.S Alex if you read this is there any chance I could get a Valve and Kit sent out.

To be honest, and through my trial and errors
You are better of getting the whole kit from Alex. The valves are, as you say 10mm gas valves. But you need inserts to fit them and 10mm inserts are like rocking horse s**t
And for 6-7 quid you might as well order 2 or 3 from Alex

I know you are sorted now but just cut a barbed connector in 2 and use that, works a treat

Same reason as Dave for ordering, everything in one place nice and easy.
Dave, are you on commission?
I've been meaning to get one for a couple of weeks I have them on the 18 & 24 and find they work a treat.
Been out today getting soaked cleaning gutters and facias with a pole without a flow valve and drove me mad unclipping the microbore connector all the time.
@ John T 'nice tip'
Thanks

Hi Thomas
I know what you mean. a system like the one on the Pure Freedom set up but with some way of keeping the tube inside.
At the moment I sit the valve over my shoulder/resting on my chest, I just have the excess hose trailing. This is OK at the moment, but no doubt will leak in time with a bit of wear.
