Gaz H20's Swiv attatchment
« on: April 15, 2007, 10:07:01 pm »
Hi all (and Gaz)

Is Gaz's swiv attatchment stiff in it's movement?
The old one I had flapped about (until I found the locking pin!!).
I have a Vikan Swiv which is stiff and stays in place when moved (by pushing against the frame) but it's a bit too heavy!.
I am using "Tesco Melody" brushes and want to put a swiv attatchment on one.

Thanks
David

It gets less stiff with use, move it about from side to side in your hand and you`ll find it gets easier.

NWH,

So Gaz's swiv attatchment IS STIFF ???
If so GOOD  ;)
Because the brush will stay in position and not flap about.

In that case I'll order a couple ;)

David,

It's fairly stiff. I use it every day. You need to aplpy pressure on the glass in order to turn it. I tried the swivel on my vikan and found it to be far too heavy!!!

I now use gaz's swivel with one of his brushes on it. Spot on!

 ;)

well  i was out this morning putting in a bit of practice with the swivel brush, and i must say i am very impressed,  just getting the hang of it now, what i like about this brush, is the quick release of the brush, no unscrewing, just pull up the white pin and the head comes away, great,

Hi Joe,
the swivel brush you have is the earlier swivel,i don`t really do anymore, the other swivel adapter that i sent you i fit to brushes now,
i think this may suit Dave Salkeld,
Keep on swiveling Joe  ;D

Gaz,

Your new swiv is stiff?
You have to push it to move it?
It doesn't wobble about like the old one?

David

Iff so, E-Mail me a price for 2 without brush.

Thanks

David

I found with my swivel, it was stiff when I first got it, but as time went by, it loosened up and you don't tend to notice it getting more flexible as I call it, you can then learn to  throw and spin that brush around at all  angles with-out even thinking of it. ;)

Its the corgies conkers ;D Keep on swiveling Guy's
