booster pump

 Hi all,

Have a problem with my booster pump that hopefully someone can help with?

Changed over to WFP about a month ago using a 300gpd purefreedom van mount system. Need to produce water quicker as the output is very slow and after reading a previous post i purchased a clarke booster pump from machinemart (which was recomended for a 40/40 system).

The problem is when I connect it up and turn it on the pump runs for a minute and then stops pumping the water through. It still has power to it and when I disconnect the hose from the RO the pump kicks in again continously.

Do you think this pump is not compatable or is there some sort of pressure/flow switch that may need adjusting

Thanks,

Rob

the pump is not compatible.  try ro-man for a suitable booster pump.

the clarke is a hig flow pump, without an ro capable of allowing a high flow then he pressure builds up and the pump will switch off.
