You are opening up a whole can of worms again here!!!!

Paul Pearce's course at Alltec is a very good start to leather cleaning although there are other course which will cover it in much greater depth and will also cover product use.

There are many many products on the market and care must be taken in your choice.  Understanding what your products should be doing and using products that have been well tested is your best start.

LTT will give you great product support and technical advice when you have problems and all our products have been rigourously tested both in our workshops and by hundreds of leather technicians on the road.  Our products have a long pedigree and the backing of scientific labs at our manufacturers, where they are fully tested and developed.  We also do highly specialist products for problems that may occur.

If you would like a chat or more details do not hesitate to ring me on 01423 881027.  We also do ongoing training support.

Ashby's are also distributors for all our products if you wnat to buy through them.

Regards
Judy

Pete
Judy,s advice is very good and LTT are a good leather company for trainning and supply.
However there are a number of suppliers out there for training and chemicals and as with all suppliers it is each to their own.
I prefere to use Furniture Clinic for both training and chemicals mainly because of service and most of all value for money.Their chemicals are as good or better than others in my view but a lot cheaper  ;) as is their training come to that.
Give Ben a ring at Furniture clinic 0191 482 6112

Pete,

I also started with the Alltec 1/2 day. Everything was fine, however, I had a problem with a suite. Contacted LTT who gave me advice on the phone. Tried their products, which are far superior to that sold by Alltec. Finally I attended 1 of their courses and now feel far better positioned to advise on and clean leather.
I can't comment on others but LTT are superb.
