Looks like an ad to me.

Personally from reading the other posts and from experience Id rather pay 10% more for better service than cheaper machines esp a TM.

You have a good product but need better service.  Master this and youll have all the TM business you want.

Sadly you’re right Mark however I think they are getting their heads around it now.
When  Woodbridge introduced the Chem-Tex machine to the UK last year they them selves had no idea the impact it was going to have on the cleaning industry let alone the number of machines that were going to go through their doors, talk about being on a roll. I have not met anyone yet that has not been surprised with the power from such a small machine not to mention the low price they are selling at.
All I can add to the above comments are.
Paul / Dan  ANSWER  THE  BLUMMING  PHONES  and stop the tongues wagging!  :P

Well exactly. Maybe to pay for the 10% reductions they will have to get rid of one of their Customer Services team (if they exist)

ok ok ,   we try to call back and answer the phone as best we can but we dont have lots of staff and myself and paul try to do everything apart from the bloody accounts which is done by the nag team upstairs.

as far as paying for 10% better service, im not sure id say its good service if they take your money and then say get lost whne you have a problem like some companies i could mention.
and we don't need to take girls in hardly any clothes to sell our products like others do.
your products cant be very good if it takes flesh to sell them. as nice as the girls were might i just say, lol. and i didnt even go, ive seen the pics on here, thanks for that by the way.lol

prochem, hydromaster, altec and all the others that sell truck mounts are all good companies in a way, i dont want to know them as i dont know them so ill just leave you with this.

if you could buy a ferrari for £10 but had to wait 2 weeks longer than if you paid £100,000 you'd wait, you know you would.    spend more if you want but the machines are no better coz they cost more.

Nobodys saying the machines are any better because they cost more, its the service and back up that more important than price.

My machine packed up again for the third time today because the machine was full of crud and grit (which acording to you guys was my fault)

So because of all the wasted time i keep having bringing it back and forth to you i took it to Alltec and decided to pay to get it fixed even though it is under warranty because i knew i would get a unbiased service from them.

They identified the fault straight away and fixed it for me, and have assured me it wont happen again.

And the best bit (they didnt even charge me for the repair :o) even though it was not there machine and i didnt buy it from them they where just happy to help.

They also confirmed that the hose reel that i keep telling you guys is not working properly has siezed up and spent a hour trying to fix it to no avail.

And there engineer seems to think that the way the fuel tank is fitted is ilegal

Says they cannot see any way that the machine can have ce aproval

And says that the pipes at the front are a serious hazard and that if a child should touch them and scald there hand i would be held responsible and could be sued

Basically something to do with the heat exchangers and all that dumping back to the clean tank, but im confident i wont get the problem again.

Had that chat with Robert aswell, and hats of to him he has got to be the most helpfull guy in our industry, i dont know what his motivation is but wether its money or he just wants to be involved in things or whatever that guy really cant bend over backwards enough to help you out.

Thanks for giving me the push to get down there and sort things with him ;)

He's got me going out with kevin on his audits next week to see how he does it and to try and overcome some of the problems i was finding.

I have had my Woodbridge Pro 20 truckmount for almost a year now.

In the first month I had a waste tank cut off switch fail, but it didn’t stop me from using the machine and the part arrived the next day.

A couple of months ago the engine was spluttering a bit at times, but replacing the fuel and air filters sorted that out.

So basically I have never been let down on cleaning job by this machine !  :D

If I have phoned Woodbridge for technical advise I have always been dealt with quickly.

On a few occasions I have enquired about prices for spares etc and no one phoned me back.

The price I paid for this machine was about £4000 less than the equivalent Hydramaster boxer.

I am happy  ;D

Chris
I have the same machine.Bought it in Jan and it has made my life sooooooooo much easier.I have tested it against the Boxxer,no comparison.

Ask Dave Washbrook he has just bought the 27hp model and used to have a Boxxer, now he is in heaven.

Chemtec Panther is the way to go.

Anyway back to the post.

My dealings with Woodbridge over the past year have been great,Dan has delivered first time every time.

KEEP IT UP DAN ;)

there was a problem with the shipping ive only just got it fitted last Monday .woodbridge lent me a pro mount 15 while i was waiting for my machine and knocked £500 off the bill because of the inconvenience.
Well done all at Woodbridge

As Im in Ireland I must have over the phone service asap and Hydramaster so far have been excellant.  They even give you Craigs mobile number in case you breakdown at 3 in the morning.

Of course I could save £4k and buy a similar spec machine but in this business time is money and if its down a day its a possible £3-£400 lost.

Really what id like to see is all the TM suppliers come together and train a nationwide network of repair guys.  They may have other busines interests ie. lawnmowers but they would have the skill to fix a problem locally to us.
