Guys

Newspaper and directories are what I call passive marketing, this type off marketing requires demand for our services. Leaflets and sale letters with some kind off offer is what i call active marketing, the offer is there to prompt prospects into acting now. its based on self interest, ( i better get it done before the offer runs out).

Offers are a great way to create demand.

i put an add in my local paper 2 nights a week
costs £270 per year
got £3000 worth of work from it last year
so well worth doing
not to mention all the repeat and referal work that stems from these customers
only wish all my ads had such a good return per pound spent!

Now going out to do a whole village, about 1200 houses, I am well known and have worked in that area for 11 years, I am putting out  a special a4 leaflet printed myself with prices and a special one off discount if booked by saturday. All work will have to be done in April, just trying to kick start the business so going all out!

Will report on what happens by Saturday I dont usually put prices on the leaflet but hard times cause for some strong tactics + as it is just for that village only I can target different offers to different places.

Thanks
Carl

Steve

I'm intrigued why one of my local agents are looking so far away for a CC.

Should I change my deodorant?

Cheers

Chris
