In the past I have used solvent soil protector and have had a problem with what looks like delaminatiion but is actually rucking.
The solvent gets to the base of the carpet and under it causing it to ruck up, if you leave it alone the solvent will evaporate and the carpet will go down to its shape, dont restretch it or you will get into a terrible mess.
A lot of the carpet shops around me say that they use water based protector when they treat in store, but they dont, they use solvent as it dries much quicker and you arent putting gallons of water on to a new carpet that will take ages to dry out.
