Converting a unger pole to a through fed
« on: March 16, 2007, 09:08:30 pm »
I am planing changing my van set up to a 2 man operation which would mean I would need another 18fter.

I was thinking of using my unger 3 section pole. Cheapest option!

But what I need to know is what size are jets because I will need to know what size of id tubing I will need. And also what size y piece I will need.

Where can I get all of this from, especially the tubing?

Thanks in advance

Matthew

gardinerpolesystems sell the tubing and the y connectors, i found the stuff from focus went brittle after a short time and wasnt as good.
better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove any doubt

got chatting to a WC the other day that has done excactly what you want to do, he had 2 unger poles both converted to wfp, wish i had his phone number for you, he did tell me he had got all his stuff from B+Q.
He even used their clear piping all thru his system, not a hose pipe or micrabore in sight!
He only did domestic so had built his system to suit his own needs, was a great little set up.
Good luck.
