   Got a second hand tucker set up in van, it had water from tank to di vessel then pump and then to pole. I kept getting airlocks and low pressure so I changed it so it went from tank to pump then di, pressure is now awesome, probably a little too good now (must get varistream).

 The point is, is this correct or does it not matter which way round it goes. Worried that it might have an adverse affect on resin. Changing the resin was why it started to play up.


           Can anybody advise me?

It depends how clean your tank etc is, If your water deteriates quickly in the van then its probably best to di the water after the pump.

If you can it should be no problem putting di water straight in the tank.

For me i dont use an RO , my tds is 73 so i purify my water on the go with just a DI vessel after the pump

I was told to do RO - Tank - DI - Pump - Pole.
He said to put the Di before the pump so theres no pressure on the DI vessel.

Most people i know do tank- pump- di- hose.

I think if you do it the other way you may be more subject to air locks inside the DI.

I like to see what I am doing so I know if my pump is sucking air it can only be between the tank and pump, and not tank ,DI, and pump.

It is a lot easier to push air through a system than suck it through

mine is ro di tank pump hose well it is an Ionic load of ..........!!but works ok
