OK, I only know what I have been told but your figures re-inforce the basic point that there is money to be made.
On the other extreme though we regularly get leaflets through our door offering carpet and upholstery cleaning at rock bottom prices. I have a leaflet in front of me offering to clean the whole house for £82 and a settee for £24. I am sure I have seen ones cheaper in the past I save the leaflets to give to my friend when I see him

Hi All

I agree with Vince there is some people who advertise so cheap, i did carpet cleaning, had 3 machines on the go & windows, but, did mainly commercial. I felt i charged to cheap, BUT still didnt get much work, had about 10 + customers that had regular xmas work domestic, but it takes a lot of effort to keep work coming in.

I still have one machine & do i job about every 3 months, but thats it should i re-advertise or get more windows. Currently tendering for 50 + offices contracts
which will be done regular. Imay try to get the carpets some but it is far easier cleaning windows.
