Hello All,

Can anyone send me a sample of the Leaflets that they have used with most success and the kind of Reminder card that they send to their existing customers.

Im starting out in april and would appreciate any advice or help with leaflets.

Designed online with my own website pictures and text

What would be interesting is to find out why your leaflet does not work.

How many have you put out?

Did you have it printed at a printers?

Who designed it?


What does it say. You might not want to reveal this.

i designed and printed the leaflets on a home pc i have offered free room clean whole house clean designed a two sided leaflet i adverts 100% money back best carpet cleaning ever i also have a web site no not much response

You could print

DO YOU WANT YOUR CARPETS CLEANING? and your phone number

on an A5 piece of paper and it would bring in work, if you put enough of them out.

the only reason leaflets don't work is the fact people put out 500 then give in and say 'leaflets don't work for me'

Put out 50,000  then say they don't work.

Paul if you get in touch with tradeprint wherehouse in Hull they will send you collection of leaflets used by carpet cleaners. I was out drinking & watching the match with them on Thursday and they said they know what works because when a leaflet gets a good responce the company orders more, if it does'nt work they don't.

Mike's point about having to put out large numbers of leaflets is bang on.
The whole subject of leaflet design is really interesting and a science in its own right.

When you consider that carpet cleaning is relatively simple then the real success comes from advertising, handling the enquires and deling with the customers.

I have always felt that this whole aspect of the business is not given the emphiasis it should get.
Most training courses skip over it in a couple of minutes if they touch on it at all.
