What would you do??
« on: December 05, 2006, 09:29:32 am »
Hi Fellas,

Due to a very kind CIU forum member I was informed of a printers website using my business card in there portfolio. I have no idead how they got it, as I had it designed by my graphic designer guy although I pressume this is the company he uses to have them printed.

Not that it really bothers me, but it shows my full address and not yet copy righted logo. What would you do?

p.s please dont ask me for the link, I will not post it!

Whats that link?                            just joking :)

I would ask them to remove it if your logo isn't yet copyrighted.

Contact the website, and ask them kindly to remove it if you want so.

This is what Im asking.....is it because it has youre address on it or because the logo is not yet copyrighted?
The reason why I ask is if you have a design /logo the regestering of it does not make it illigal to copy it,it means a company on yourebehalf will help inforce the copyright....
Copyright is given as soon as an idea, product or logo is made into hard copy....that is as soon as it is written or drawn on paper, you dont have to regester a logo if its yours but due to cost and difficulty in taking people to court advisable...
