i was only having a laugh, ive had 2 more posts removed and no explantion (though someone has contacted me, and the story is im not welcome there)

so im on here, cleaning forums and peters site

ive been on the net for many years, been mod and admin on LOADs of message board (i might sound like a know it all, BUT i have the T - shirt) and never have i seen so much post editing and down-right censorship in my life (if your not in the "gang" then your a nobody)

I must say, cheers to Mike and the mods here, at least we can have our say

see the smillies after the post, it was meant as a joke, i spoke to steve, he asked me not to post my site, so i havent for weeks (infact since YaaBB stopped my IP)

the 2 deleted posts were nothing to do with my site, 1 was in the thread that Glyn was talking about a Trolley. the other was on the CC section, a sensible post

Without making a molehill out of a mountain, have you checked your profiles here on cleanitup - you've both got another forum as your website, not your own, and have had for a while. Care to replace them with your business sites?

How about we voluntarily wind up this thread, and both of you delete your own posts from reply 4 onwards?

C'mon, it's late, we've all got work tomorrow, move along there, nothing more to see, it's all over, do your talking while you're walking, etc etc.

Oh gosh - where do I start?

Because at least one post had already been deleted, I assume by the poster, the thread had lost a bit of comprehension as it was. That's why I asked if posters could delete their own posts back to a certain point.

I don't really care what you have in your profile, but it seemed that for one poster it was a case of pot, kettle, black - and then I had to include both in my request as both had forums in their profiles.

It's very rarely I use moderator status. I felt that the thread was developing into a slagging match and asked that consideration be given to voluntarily stopping it.

I'm obviously not sure about moderator privileges on other boards but I can't ban anyone. If anyone has issues with any board, I suggest you contact that board administrator and take it up with them. It's good to get things off your chest but I'm all for a quiet life.

I'm only here at this time because I've been rained off and I was trying to catch up with paperwork and was looking for a distraction!

Can we all get on together now?

If you need to remove swearing you have to set your control panel and you can ommite them from your site any postings with swaring will not appear on the forum
