Hi guys just got off the phone to a lady after a suite cleaned (32 mins on free phone
) 43 % Cotton 40 % MODACRYL and 17 % Ester short pile loosly fitted over a teak frame, now I am thinking im fine with the cotton part and am partly sure the Ester is there for the anti static and flame retardency but what is the MODACRYL I can only find reffrence to work gear being Welding Gloves and Fire and Safety Wear
Can anyone help please

As far as I am aware James, Modacryl is a type of Copolymer filament. It is used for its shine and brightness qualities. I think it is very similar to Acrylic and is resistant to water up to 80 degrees.

John, you are correct, it is a shortened version of 'modified acrylic'
