« on: November 17, 2006, 03:38:53 pm »
Hi...Been asked by an upholsterer to clean some cloth made out of horse hair.
Never been asked before any advice would be welcome. sounds like a solvent clean.

Cheers Paul

you might need to speak to your guy again, i think you will find, its a horse hair filling, this doesn't pose a problem, just keep as dry as poss, clean the covering, not the filling,if you get what i mean.

Its never a pass of the wand, just a master stroke.

There are different colours of horse hair and the darker ones can bleed...clean with this in mind!
