Von Schrader and Rotowash
« on: November 13, 2006, 09:38:02 am »
I have a Von Schrader dry foam upholstery cleaning  system and a Rotowash for sale.

Both are in perfect working order and surplus to my requirements, as I have to stop, all, but the lightest of activities, following a heart scare with surgery, likely in the near future.

The Von Schrader is exactly as currently sold and very rarely available in the second hand market.

There are two sets of brushes and some chemicals plus the hose / tool bag

The Rotowash is the biggest model with the older style T handle and I used it for large area cleaning / aggitation, it like a massively pumped up version of the Sebo, but is a complete system, on it's own.

I'm looking for £ 1400 for the Von Schrader
                       £   400 for the Rotowash

I am based in the Glasgow area and prepared to meet halfway, or deliver up to 100 miles

Hi Geoff

The rotawash is the 400 and certainly is suitable for hard surface cleaning. The brush height is adjustable and the brushes are dense, rather than open, with thousands of bristles, rather than hundreds.

I've used it mainly on carpets but also on commercial kitchen tiling and heavy duty vinyl, with excellent and immediate results

I know of someone who uses the rotawash on block paving

I have been told to behave " sensibly" or am likely, to bring on a heart attack, so I have to get rid of all of my carpet machines and concentrate on upholstery, which can be handled with one of the new, small, but powerfull portables.
