A tradesman friend of mine was telling me about a job he was on the other day. While he was there the customer had a CC in with a porty, turned up in his landrover and and got his gear out of the boot (not signwritten transport), cleaned the carpet, packed up and held out his had for the cash, custy says im not happy as you havent removed that stain that your promised would go, anyway after 10 mins of CC saying he'd done his best and custy refusing to pay, the CC emptied his Waste tank over the carpet, custy just laugh's and says, "Well that was clever wasnt it", promblem was she lived in a flat above a saloon and pointed out that they would perhap soon be seeing the waste water,Splash n Dash bloke runs out to his Land rover wheel spins off and returns with a Wet Vac and recovers as much of the water as possible then wheelspins off a second time with no extra pictures of the queen in his wallet.
I see two morals here.
1. Never promise stain removal, only advise you will use industry proven methods and will do your best.
2. Never act when the red mist had set in, always count to 10 as they say and rethink before acting.
