With ccs charging around £2/m on the flat for commercial, what should be charged for steps?

Some steps are 1000mm accross, but others can be double that width.  Some will be a mix of soft and hard surface, others fully fitted, occasionally, some will have a runner, with brass rods.
Now !
What was the question ?

Well lets just say the average step.

The ones I have looked at are carpet tiled with nosings and about 1200mm width.

Cheers
