Get Peter to use stronger packets , he has sent me things in the past and I have had no problems,  or you could try www.cleantech.co.uk  , if you do I would phone them as they are not very good at replying to  e mails

It sounds like they are being stolen by postal workers.  Apparently mail sorting staff routinely "feel" packages and extract the contents if they seem valuable.

Among the most common disappearing items are:

-Jewellery (perhaps thats what these spray jets are being mistaken for)
-Company Cheque Books
-New (unsigned) credit and debit cards
-Passports (So much of a problem that now the UK passport authority does not use the Roayl Mail to deliver any of its correspondence)
-Driving licences and anything else from the DVLA (can be used as ID to set up fraudulent bank accounts and credit cards)
-Cash (of course)

Anybody see Channel 4's "Third Class Post" last week?

What an eye-opener.

I saw it Philip,
What a disgrace, I was shocked, You think the "Royal Mail" is a safe way of sending things but to see some of the things that went on in that program really makes me think twice about sending stuff now!!!

At lest the Royal Mail know where my delivery address is :), because the parcel courier company don't >:( they seem to be having a game of ping pong with the parcel that peter sent last week. >:( >:( >:(

Its back in Scotland again but have been promised it tomorow  ;D ;D

I think the score is 30/40 to them now ::)

that Channel 4's "Third Class Post" program showed the royal mail to be what it is, a joke  :(

i use ebay a fair bit and the stuff that goes "missing" is real bad

i won a signed "star wars poster" from a collector, £300

the thing arrived and when i opened it, the thing had been shut in a van door, then then put tape around the tube to hide it, so i had to open it to find out, thus they were happy because i had signed for it :(

£300 quid is now worthless :(, i have been down for a compenstion claim, but its like talking to a brick wall

We use a PO box, and when we go down to collect our mail, the way the royal mail staff behave can be summed up in ne word, UNPROFESSIONAL.

Often on the phone to their friends exchanging obscene jokes (well in the earshot of customers), usually there's 4 or 5 of them hanging around outside having a smoke.

I went to collect one week, and I was waiting for something important.  There was nothing there for 4 days, then on the 5th day there was about 30 letters.  "Thats odd" I thought, when I checked the postmarks some were more than 10 days old.  They simply couldnt be bothered to go down the stairs and check it for me.

One time I was waiting around for 15 minutes while they all (5 of them) hunted around their very scruffy looking office for an expensive Italian leather jacket that a lady had come to collect (sent by reg'd post) and they had "lost".

The sooner the government introduces competition to the royal mail, the better.

God, the royal mail sounds b l o o d y awful >:(

I too am wanting some spray jets, I intend to ask Peter for a few other bits and pieces too as I want to make up a few more brushes and also want some spare bits and pieces to cover for the eventuality of breakdown.

I also want some of the hose that Peter supplied with my trolley system, am blowed if I can find anyone local who supplies it though.

Also the inline connectors and those that will also step up and step down from standard size hosepipe.

Any info posted  on this will be avidly read :o

Haven't tried to contact Peter yet as I understand he is incommunicado at the moment.

They had the thin hose that Peter supplied at B&Q  15 mtr for about £8.00, or hoselock do it and you can get it from good garden  centres

If so our cost is £10.00 for 30 metres
