houses above shops

how do you find the housews above shops to do that have a small ledge just above shop. Are these houses too high for normal ladder use i mean the high ceiling houses in the older buildings and would the ladder sit safe enough because of the ledge.

I think many of these properties, here in Chepstow at least, are rented and the turn-over in occupants is high.

One of my customers rents out a large 'above a shop' premise to Eastern Europeans and has asked me to clean the windows (I haven't taken this job on because it's too awkward).

I think you'd be better targetting other areas.

Iff you are happy to continue with ladders then I agree with the other guys - don't bother.
But, if you are considering WFP then they can be a good earner as no-one else want to do them and if you go at the right times (to avoid a lot of trafic) with WFP they can be done easily

I do these, top floor fairly easily - with ladders - no way!!
