how to top up your tan
« on: October 20, 2006, 07:27:16 pm »
take 1 residential home (with 40 residents)

previously:
3 blokes
3 ladders
6 hours

plus
dirty frames
dirty ledges
dirty doors

equals:
not a very happy customer

now
1 bloke
1 wfp
3 hours

plus
all frames washed
all ledges washed
all doors cleaned

equals:
a very very happy customer

now you can have a nice cuppa and enjoy the sunshine!

we was on about rain on another topic... i felt obliged to go home the other day using trad,... as i kept wiping and bloody wiping.. ???,,

can you continue in the rain using wfp?... well i know you can and do, but is it ok to leave the water on the windows... mixed with rain.?

Hi jonhboy,

honestly, wfp gets quicker and quicker.

the trick is the first 3 cleans... clean the top of the frames really well, then each time after that you will knock 30 mins off a job.

you will notice that the the glass 'feels' smother, and the results are really pleasing.

it was ground, first and second floors, outside only.

rule of thumb for me is 2 blokes on ladders = 1 bloke wfp.

i found it useful to have someone clean the windows, and you watch from the inside, then you see what areas are missed etc etc..

also rinse rinse rinse.

i usally go across the top of the glass at least 4 times rinsing off...
