How do you clean your brush? After a day I put mine in pure water with a bit of gg4 and leave to soak. Then I leave to soak in just pure water. Is this going ott, if at all necessary?

I used to leave mine soak overnight in a bucket of pure.

Now I just let them dry out, thn just give them a dust and a bash and off we go again.

same here, used to soak brush overnight etc,but now i dont think their is any need to,
it is a bit O.T.T

I think it was Ian who segested cleaning brush in a bucket of water with detergent in & well rince after with pure water. it will remove oil etc that has been picked up.

Must say it made a difference,

I did quite a big reply this, I thought I must have been dreaming I'd done it as the reply has gone!!
But Macc has read it so I must have said it somewhere!!!

If I can be bothered to write out the long and detailed reply I did (but has now disappeared) I'll do it again.................but not now!

i dont tocuh my brush all week

just wait till the weekend, it'll dry out and then come monday morning give it a brisk rub with my hand, all the loose bits come out and away i go

though i do rinse with the brush OFF the glass

I spend all day cleaning mine with pure water.

Leave to dry overnight

Ready to start cleaning the brush next morning.

No really if I see any dirt on brush I clean it off stait away (ie. a gathering of loosse cobwebs, ect. ) I think thats enough

Spiders, craneflies, webs, roof tar, brick dust - I leave on the brush.

Mice, baby birds, nests and rats I clean out once a week whether the brush needs it or not.

I clean my brush on the pole im using regulary, I feel this very important for maximum results. Im sorry but once a week is not nearley enough, How long does it take?

to be far to myself i used to clean it all the time, BUT still rinsed with the brush off

then i changed brushs and rinsed with the brush ON the glass, the results were not as good as brush OFF

so i went back to that way

as i rinse with it off, the final rinse washs away everything, so no worries

though i will clean it a bit more regular

I only clean my brush out once a week used to do it everyday by running under tap to remove all the crap and then soak in bucket with a dash of GG3.

Now when i working if there is any rubbish in my brush i turn the flow on and rub my hand across the bristles back and forth.

End of the week i put it in a bucket of pure water and there it stays until monday morning.
