Hi,
I'm thinking off getting myself a decent upholstery tool soon and was woundering what is better the Hydramaster Drimaster or the CFR does one use more water then the other when cleaning? Also does anyone know what pressures the Drimaster can be used at???
Any advice much appreciated

When I first started using the DriMaster Upholstery tool I used loads of water, because you can put it down and without realizing it is still on, it requires you to set flow taps instead of triggers. The other upholstery tool I use is the prochem (standard ) i guess loads of over spray, but they both have their place and wouldn't swap one for the other.
Both are useful.
As I tend to do far more carpets than upholstery the jury is still out.

The hydramaster uses far to much water, but is a great, easy to use tool. Only really suitable for truckmounts.
The CFR is awkward to use at first, but once you are used to it its superb. Interchangable heads ( 3inch and 5 inch), interchangable jets ( 01 to 04). Suitable for portables or truckmounts.

I've got both and I change them to suit the fabric and soiling degree.
The drimaster I like on sensitives but anything really dirty I go for the cfr just because it's quicker.
IMO drimaster dries a lot faster.

PS was it Dave Ingram that said that as a professional you should have more than 1 upholstery tool !

i bought a drimaster few months ago, ive not been that impressed, cant do intricute bits, so i have to swap back to my detailer for these bits, so ive found its easier just use the detailer for the whole lot. but thats just me. some say its great.

Cfr is a good tool, but for heavy hits I like the Kleenrite swivel head, its also easier to use.
