leather colour enhancing
« on: September 03, 2006, 04:45:29 pm »
Hi all,

Does anyone know if there's a product available to enhance the colour of leather suites, esp where the colour has faded on arms etc.

I have a dark brown suite but has gone very light in places and one sofa is almost a different colour ???

Just wondering if there is a cleaner with colour enhancer in as well to revitalize it  a bit ?

regards
steve

Hi

Products are available.  If your suite is an aniline which it sounds as if it might be there are aniline dyes which are quite easy to use and will bring your suite back to its original colour.  All anilines fade over time and it is usually necessary to use such products after a few years.

If your suite is a pigment suite it is a different problem and will need a trained technician to deal with it.

If you want to contact me on 01423 881027 I will gladly talk through the problem with you.

Regards
Judy
