Hello

Any of you experts out there got the solution for water marks left by
sprinkler systems at a commercial bulding.

Apparently they've tried chemicals etc but as yet no results.

Hi Colin,

I use a scraper blade to remove the limescale and then charge the client as part of the initial clean.

If they continue to use the sprinklr I would allow and extra % to cover any future sessions with the scraper blade.

I tried the scraper blade but with no joy. It's asthough It's etched into the glass!

I am going to look at the job this morning so will take the scraper and try one of the windows.

Never tryed this one myself but I have heared vinigar will do it, give it a try and if it works put up another topic and tell us.

If the damage is too severe then here really is little you can do about it.

Maybe try fine wire wool, I have heard people on the forum have used this method.

I normaly use my scraper but have used wire wool in the past but  it must be 000 grade, like your blade keep it wet and use light pressure.

Hi Colin

Put pure vinager on your applicator and rub, it will remove lime scale spots if that it what they are.

Lime is alkiline vinager is a mild acid, and it is a very cheep way to sort the problem out.

Thats all I use is vinager straight on the applicater, I've tried loads of stuff and just cant beat plain white vinager.

I went to site yesterday and found the windows to be

quite smooth to the touch, but apperance wise they

looked cloudy or misty. really strange, will give the vinegar
 
a try  though and post another thread.
